I thank you, I praise you, I adore you, God, for all that you have given me (take a few moments in reflection to offer thanks) Glory to you!
Jesus, come alive in my heart today. Guide me to see those I meet today as living images of your Son- living kindness, respect & generosity.
Loving God, walk with me that I may walk with those entrusted to my care – as apostle, visible angel, good shepherd & older brother/sister.
God, may your presence bring peace, hope, and draw us closer to love you through loving those most in need, and those entrusted to our care.
Inspire us with your Spirit and enable us to live the Gospel more authentically that we may be credible witnesses of your love and mercy.
God of invitation, accompany us as we accompany others to more fully respond to your call to be your disciples. Compel us to respond in love.
Lord, help me to be bold, yet full of understanding, steeped in convictions of others & willing to proclaim but just as willing to listen.
Lord, help us grow ever closer to you, following you, and being empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread your message of love and hope to all.
God, you enrich your church with gifts of lives freely given in service. Through their example touch the hearts of many to follow your call.
God, enliven our prayer life that we may unite ourselves in union with you and that all our actions may be done in a spirit of prayer. Amen.
According to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good (Psalm 25:7) Lord, in your mercy & love, you call to me, help me respond to you.
“Together let us pray to the Virgin Mary that she helps us … to walk in faith and charity, ever trusting in the Lord’s mercy” Pope Francis
God, who calls me by name, open my eyes to pay attention to your transforming presence in the routines & rhythm of my life this & every day.
Touch our hearts, Father, restore us this Lent- that we may recognize the gifts of your Spirit. Give us strength and patience to begin anew.
How am I living this Lent? Lord, renew my call to move beyond my comfort zone, to see with eyes of faith & recommit to those on the margins.
Ever-living God, your mercy is kind. May we be filled with compassion towards all we encounter today, being people of kindness & forgiveness.
God of invitation, this Lent, you have invited us to renew our love of you and of our neighbor. May our actions witness your love and mercy.
Prompt our actions with your inspiration, we pray, Lord, and further them with your constant help, that all we do may always begin from you.
Repent, and believe in the Gospel. Lord, this Lent, set me free to love and to serve both you and my neighbor through prayer, fasting & alms.
God, open our hearts and enlighten our minds today & always. Ash Wednesday is tomorrow-Find a church to receive ashes http://rmd.me/fwrIH
Thought about Lent? Giving up or taking something on? Let’s not make this Lent about doing more, rather about how God is calling us to being.
“Do not be afraid, from now on you will be fishers of men.” When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything & followed him.
May God be blessed. In the stillness and quiet, in the noise and activty, in our actions and words, in our minds and hearts. God be blessed.
God throughout generations you invite us to a deeper & more committed faith. Guide us to live and make known the Gospel to all we encounter.
God, we celebrate & thank you for the women & men who offer joyful witness in their commitment to follow you. May we too be such a witness.
God may we find the time this week to discern where you are calling us. Give us the grace to listen & embrace your invitation to follow you.
Lord of the Harvest, inspire us to use our gifts to respond to your call. Open our hearts to your mercy and truth, justice and peace. Amen.
God, you have a plan for each of us, offering a future filled with hope. Give us wisdom to see your Spirit at work in our daily lives. Amen.
