God, I dedicate this new day to you. May I be a blessing to those I come in contact with today. May I find rest & renewal for the week ahead.
“I will praise the name of God in song and I will glorify him with thanksgiving” Psalm 69:30 Spend time offering prayers of gratitude to God.
God, you call & send us. Help us model & point to the Church’s vision as the People of God: we are to be for everyone; all are to be welcomed.
Lord help me live the questions & grow into the answers-Who am I? What captures my imagination? Who am I called to serve? What are my gifts?
Living the Gospel & incarnating it as we proclaim it, such is the basis of our vocation; this is its value & necessity in the world of today.
God, increase our wisdom through our knowledge of you and your ways. Also, open us to a deeper knowledge & truth of our own self-identity.
“The entire people of God is responsible for awakening vocations,” How do I invite, encourage & walk with others in exploring their purpose?
God, give me the grace of your Spirit. May I be free from needless worry and anxiety. Help me to present to your presence in my life. Amen.
God, may I make some time to reflect on your word: http://rmd.me/nC8Vf What catches your attention? How do you see yourself in the story?
How am I “committed to oppose all sinful social structures, and to help reform them or create new ones”? -Pope Francis, Take time to reflect.
God calls us in a way that invites us to see – our vocation – this calling, has a claim on our lives for the simple reason it comes from God.
God, you call us to see with eyes of faith, you call us to seek out poverty, to be moved, & inspired to respond to the unmet needs of today.
God, help me to build, in the here & now, a more human & inhabitable world, where the love of Christ is known, especially to those in need.
God, you call us to conversion. May this process of affective, intellectual, moral & religious conversion deepen our commitment to serve you.
Jesus, teach me to love. Teach me to love as you have loved. Teach me to love others and see your face in those I met today. Help me to love.
“May the Church be a place of God’s mercy & hope, where all feel welcomed, loved, forgiven, and encouraged to live..the gospel” Pope Francis
How do I live “a deep commitment to promoting the quality of life, justice as a seamless garment, and protecting the integrity of creation”?
God, help us be intentional. Open us to have reflective conversations with others about how to respond to God’s call, for this time & place.
To live the Gospel dimension of our vocation means placing ourselves on the periphery, at the boundaries. That is where we should be present.
We all participate in this great story, because “God calls the individual in Jesus Christ, each one personally by name” Each of us is called.
God, you invite us personally & communally to deepen our communion with you. May our lives be a reminder of your presence in the world. Amen.
Lord, rich in mercy, have mercy on us. Bless us with the grace that we may always live longing for your mercy & thankful for this gift. Amen
“Even all the hairs of your head are counted. So do not be afraid” (Mt 10:29-31) Lord God, help my to know your loving presence more deeply.
God, you call us to be creative. May we recognize the beauty of your creation & the gift of human creativity that surrounds us today & always.
God, you call us to community and interdependence. May we move beyond ourselves and our individualism to seek you in relationship & community.
God, you call us to identify our life with that of Christ. Open our hearts to conversion & starting out on an adventure which will never end.
God, may we more and more root our lives in you. May we recognize your action and active presence in creation, culture and in daily events.
God, help us to see the gifts of each person we come in contact with today. May we use our gifts and talents to serve you and one another.
Give thanks to the Son, Light of the Nations; He loved us with a heart of flesh; ..Let us give to him hearts open..; Misericordes sicut Pater !
God of justice, open our eyes to see you in the face of those on the margins. Remind us that what we do to the least ones, we do to you.
God, in gratitude, I remember the influence of all who have supported and encouraged me. May I be a support & encourage those in need today.
