FSC Days 2016: Proclaiming God’s Mercy Beyond Borders
“The relationships [Jesus] forms with the people who approach him manifest something entirely unique and unrepeatable. The signs he works, especially in favor of sinners, the poor, the marginalized, the sick, and the suffering, are all meant to teach mercy. Everything in him speaks of mercy. Nothing in him is devoid of compassion.”
With these words from Pope Francis in mind, the participants of FSC Days 2016 formed community, reflected on the Lasallian mission’s call to go beyond borders, and share in faith experiences. Sixteen young men participated in the four-day gathering. The gathering included Brothers sharing their vocation story in light of going beyond borders, a discussion on vocation at Saint Mary’s College, and a reflection on discernment as a conclusion.
